Filippo and Emanuela live in Palazzo Grande with their young family and their Golden Retriever Pablo, speak excellent English, and are available to meet every need of guests. In addition to being experts in the food and wine sector, they are accomplished at preparing a variety of Italian dishes. They provide breakfast during your stay and, if requested, for an additional charge can prepare other meals in the Umbrian tradition.

Thanks to their numerous contacts with some of the most prestigious local food and wine producers, Filippo and Emanuela can organize guided tours, wine tastings at Palazzo Grande or at Umbrian or Tuscan wineries, visits to olive oil mills for the harvesting of olives and the production of oil, truffle hunts, and dairies to witness the production of high quality local cheeses. The cost of each of these activities (certain of which are only available seasonally) varies depending on a variety of factors that Filippo and Emanuela are happy to discuss.

As longtime residents of Umbria, they are highly knowledgeable about the region, and always eager to share their local knowledge with guests of Palazzo Grande.
