Palazzo Grande’s 70 acres of working farmland are traversed by a ½-kilometer main drive bordered by cypress trees. Wrought iron gates open to provide access to the palazzo and its grounds. On a large front terrace is a garden that has been restored in the traditional Italian style, but enriched with striking contemporary sculptures, lighting, and audio system.
An oversized, fully restored swimming pool with modern gazebo, changing rooms, and audio system is set in a spacious meadow adjacent to the main house; the medieval village of Corciano is dramatically perched on the hill just above.
The woods surrounding the meadow, all part of Palazzo Grande, feature hiking trails and black truffles (a truffle hunt can be arranged in season). A newly restored tennis court, large lawn for events, and 600-tree olive grove complete the grounds.
